01Scheduled flights

The routes people actually ask for

Shared seats depart on a published timetable. Private charters leave when you want them to. Every price includes government taxes and is the figure we quote on WhatsApp.

02How we work

We are the flight desk, not the airline

Almost nobody searching for a helicopter in Nepal is talking to an operator. They are talking to an agency. The difference matters, so we say it plainly: we charter aircraft from certified operators and manage the flight around you.

What that buys you is choice. When one operator is grounded for maintenance or has both machines committed to a rescue, we move you to another rather than telling you to wait. On a five-day weather window in October, that is the difference between flying and not.

Every operator we work with holds a current air operator certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. We publish who they are, when they started flying and how many aircraft they hold, because you are entitled to know whose machine you are getting into.

04The thing everyone worries about

Lukla weather, explained honestly

Tenzing-Hillary Airport sits at 2,845 metres on a sloping shelf with a mountain at one end and a drop at the other. It is flown under visual rules only. When the cloud comes up the valley, nothing moves, and no amount of money changes that.

Helicopters hold an advantage over the fixed-wing flights: a smaller window is enough, and a machine can wait at Ramechhap or Phaplu for the cloud to lift rather than cancelling the day. It is an advantage, not an exemption.

So we run a weather centre with live observations from every airstrip we fly to, and we say flyable, marginal or grounded in words before we show you a single number.
